ABOUT

During my six seasons with Jacksonville Dance Theatre, I served as the Community Outreach Coordinator teaching community classes and organizing special performances such as the National Water Dance in 2016 involving students of local colleges and elementary schools to virtually join dancers across the world in a live video event recognizing the conservation and importance of water.

NEXT PART (1/4)

Performing with JDT, I had the opportunity to work with remarkable artists such as Jonah Bokaer, James Boyd, Jay Jackson, Bliss Kohlmyer, James Morrow, Nancy Evans Dance Theatre, and Mikey Rioux. I have traveled to multiple festivals and conventions representing Jacksonville Dance Theatre including Stakes are High: An Evening of Collaborated Dance in Cambridge, Massachusetts and Mix Match Dance Festival in Los Angeles.

I have choreographed multiple works seen throughout JDT’s seasons such as Perspective inviting audience members to view this piece from Facebook Live during a live physical performance and 10-7-37: Progression/Regression focusing on an individual’s process of grieving death.

With a love of theatre, I have proudly served as Choreographer for Florida State College at Jacksonville’s High School Summer Musical Experience for six seasons. There she worked on West Side Story, Wizard of Oz, Cats, FAME, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, and Peter Pan.

Independently she with Director Samuel Fisher choreographing Rocky Horror Picture Show in 2018 commissioned by Blake Osner and several Experimental Theatre productions such as Rite focusing on daily ritual practice, Sunday Brunch a study of the history of Sunday Brunch, and 3 focusing society’s pressures of young children. She then worked with Tim Driscoll and Andrew Cardy in music videos for artists such as AF THE NAYSAYER and Lumare.

NEXT PART (3/4)

Receiving my BFA Dance education through Florida State College at Jacksonville and Jacksonville University, I found a passion for teaching. As an educator, I developed curriculums for elementary, middle, and high school levels. At Episcopal School of Jacksonville, she served as Middle School Director of Dance in 2016 and moved on to become full Director of the program in 2017 for two years.

I have traveled to Valdosta State University as a Guest Instructor in 2015 and visited Guatemala City in 2011 to assist and choreograph with Kim McDonough for Rios Dance School. She credits her mentors Maryanne Aycock, Rosemary Fletcher, Rebecca Levy, Katie McCaughan, Tiffany Santiero, and Talani Torres for her educational and artistic qualities.

NEXT PART (4/4)

Currently, I'm a second year graduate candidate of University of Maryland at College Park. Within my first year moving to Baltimore, MD I have served as Assistant Coordinator of the American College Dance Festival (2020), a panelist of the Maryland Arts Council, and a guest artist of the Maryland Thespian Festival.

During the COVID pandemic, my love of live virtual performance grew stronger which led to her development of The Crossword Experiment testing the full production value of the basic offerings of Zoom performances via YouTube Live. I'm  excited to announce the reintroduction of Beer and Ballet collaborations with Baltimore Breweries. More information to come soon.
